Maks is still very good, traditonal, judge them by their qualities instead of quantities, kau kee beef brisket is one of the best still, used to eat on these little tables out on the street (before they were forced to move into a shop), their portions are very small also and i remember stacking 5-6 of these little bowls ( with chicken prints on them) by myself, during my teenage years, yummy.

I’ve already been here on your site for the past 45 minutes now and I’m starving!! Seriously, my stomach starting growling at the 11 minute mark.

Sista, you’re killing me with your plethora of photographs. Looks like you and the Astronomer has a seriously delicious time in HK, I’m so jealous! Actually, I shouldn’t say that, It’s not nice of me. I should be kind to you guys so that you can eat an extra bowl of those cold sesame noodles for me! Did ya think of eating extra for me when you where there? Pleeeze say yes so that my stomach can have it’s pleasure!

It’s crazy how far three measly dollars stretches in Saigon ;-) .

I guess we must look at the small portion sizes in a positive light – you can fit a greater variety of dishes in your stomach!

I’ve never been to HK, everything sounds interesting, especially since the portions look small so that you can try so many different things.
