hola C,
I hope you NEVER make it out to Dim Sum Express. It's not meant to be a destination. However, Dean Sin World which is in the next strip mall, deserves a chance. Mrs. Lu is the bomb: http://www.yelp.com/biz/dean-sin-world-monterey-park#hrid:poUf3BJv5h6Eh4zlLwlbYQ . I recently saw Christian from stuffwhitepeoplelike.com at DSW. It's a worthy trip. (holler when you decide to head down, they've finally expanded their dinner hours)

glad you liked Yun Chuan. It's one's of my MPK standby's!

Miss Adventure - The vague translations makes me feel like I'm in China again. I almost resorted to looking at what everyone was eating and pointing to the dish I wanted, but my manners wouldn't let me.

Kirk - I had no idea, but then again I'm pretty clueless about dining in SD as a whole. My two go-to spots in town are Mom's and Grandma's.

Fiona - I totally know what you're feeling! I felt the same way when I read this post from a blogger in Vietnam. Don't die of jealous, I'd miss your comments. Really!

Bern - Hahaha! I totally didn't even notice now fried food-intensive the menu was. And I'll take your word about the twice cooked pork. I'm still curious about the Spicy with Spicy though.

Look at the menu I thought it is for someone with suicidal tendency:
“fat pork with garlic sauce…
Stir fried, deep fried.. fried… and fried"
And when I looked at pictures of your food….
I felt something blocked my artery already.
BTW, don’t you dare trying twice cooked pork… it freaky nasty thingie
