I want the french toast! The bite size canale look adorable. I especially like the extreme searing on many of the dishes.

One of our favorite small, neighborhood spots in LA. Had the “Bistro Steak” last night. Great pics in your thorough review. The cold butter thing is funny–we complain when a restaurant serves it room temp.

That looks awesome, and I don’t even like french toast!

And to be fair to some bloggers (like me), it’s not that we don’t want to have the most broad, representative experiences to make a decision on a place, it’s that time and money are rather in short supply unless the place is an instant favorite.

Nevertheless, it’s definitely appreciated (by me and the restos I’m sure) that you did the work!

I’ve only been once (for Ilan Hall’s pre Gorbals dinner) but must go back for that French TOAST!!!
