Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place ... wasn't sure if I should do it here or on the French Laundry review ...

Nevertheless ... due to a last second cancellation (literally) by some friends who are now in the doghouse, my wife and I have two open seats at our 4-top table at The French Laundry. The reservation is for tonight at 7 pm.

If you or any of your readers know of someone who would like to join us, please have them get in touch with me at vikmurthy@gmail.com.

Thanks!

I went to LA last summer and just had to visit Pink's!
I loved every bit of my Lord of the Rings Hot Dog! It was perfect and tasted amazing. I can see why you didn't like it, but you could have found a way to eat everything together. What a pity!
The fries with ranch sauce and the ones with chedar were also incredibly tasty. I'll definitly go there again on my next trip to LA.

Anna - The man who rang up our order saved us a buck by bundling the fries, pastrami sandwich, and milkshake into a combo. He mentioned some sort of milkshake supplement though. So awesome that a root beer float doesn't incur a surcharge! Next time!

Anthony - I was hoping you'd say that!

Watching people run can be equally as exhausting! The burning of calories might by slightly less, but you're still losing them.

Love Oinkster! When you order a combo, sandwich + drink, you can switch out the drink for a root beer float! Cool, right? Who does that at no extra charge? You should also try his other restaurant in Highland Park, Maximilliano's.
