This past Saturday, local food bloggers and the top culinary talents in Los Angeles descended upon Coolhaus in Pasadena for the ultimate bake sale: Eat My Blog.
While we were setting up the display with a seemingly endless bounty of sweet and savory treats, a line was already forming outside on East Colorado Boulevard.
The line continued to stretch down the block for the duration of the bake sale, with most of the stock running out within two hours.
We didn’t let anyone in until precisely 10 AM. These folks waited patiently until all systems were a go!
With 30 baking bloggers and 40 restaurants on board, we greeted the enthusiastic crowd with tables filled to the brim with cupcakes, cookies, and confections, ultimately raising more than $5,500 for the Philippine Red Cross during the three hour sale.

I got there at 10:30, waited for over an hour in line and they were down to only one table of just cookies when I got through the door! Sad for me but awesome for the cause!!
