Love this! Are they sea snails?
Wow! Those look amazing, almost too pretty to eat.
Ooh! Are these tasty? Are you in Mui Né? We stayed at Chéz Nina. It was awesome. We met Joe (from VT) and Thao there when they owned a café there. Now I think they run Chéz Nina.
Phil – They are! I don’t know the English name (or the Vietnamese one, for that matter), but they are some sort of sea snail like creature.
Anna – They were tasty! We had them grilled with scallion oil and crushed peanuts. Our fave spot to stay in Mui Ne is at Sunshine Beach. Been renting a room there since we were expats. Great service and spiffy rooms 😉
wow, amazing looking snails! grilled like that, fresh on the beach sounds so very fabulous.
Beautiful photo!
I have never seen snails like that before. Wow.
Since it looks so exotic, one would want to keep 1 shell. I’m trying imagine bringing this through Customs….
